| Unit #221 is one of the most appealing units in the complex. In addition to having on the few ocean front views with tropical sea breezes, you'll find comfort and pleasure in the spacious room with king size bed and kitchenette.
(Most hotel rooms do not allow cooking inside their rooms!)
We supply all the conveniences you need to dine in comfortably...an electric skillet, rice cooker, toaster, microwave, a regular sized refrigerator/freezer, blender - plus many other amenities such as Kona coffee, some condiments, and toiletries.
Reed's Bay is centrally located in the heart of old downtown Hilo - about 10 minutes from the HILO Airport. The popular Walmart and Prince Kuhio Plaza are about 3 miles away in the same direction.
The hotel is located in a dedicated section of old Hilo called "Hotel Row," which is lined with historic Banyan Trees, views of the ocean, and the wonderful Japanese Tea Garden in Queen Liliokalani Park. A golf course is just across the street! And although it's not the Hilton, this gives you a chance to re-live what it used to be like when the old 'Mom & Pops' stores used to rule Hilo.
The view from unit #221 is breathtaking ~ harbor activies abound, and it's quite a busy place just kick back and enojoy all while you sip on your morning coffee. The ocean is ever changing and the waves dance up and around the lava rocks right below your balcony as the tides change. It doesn't get any better than this in Hilo!
