Watch fisherman, boats, wind surfers, lots of winter time whales, or read and feel the gentle breezes while relaxing on the lush green grounds. Walk to shopping, theatre, fine and casual dining. Experience mesmerizing sunrises, moon rises, and swaying palms. Relax with a massage poolside, soak in the family-size jacuzzi, barbecue and dine right next to the rolling surf! If you like walking along stretches of white sand beaches, you'll love this exhilarating location. Re-charge your batteries and enjoy life! Spend your days doing everything, or nothing at all.
No charge for local calls at condo. Long distance please by phone card, collect, or use your cell. Island tradition is to remove shoes at the door. If you prefer not to be barefoot, please bring indoor slippers. Complimentary tennis rackets, croquet, and shuffle board equipment. Lots of snorkeling, beach towels and gear provided. Kauai guide books for trails and beaches. Fresh indoor flowers and live plants.

Amenities: ROAD RUNNER HIGH-SPEED INTERNET CABLE MODEM CONNECTION provided in unit at desk - NO CHARGE - Carpet throughout unit, 1 cordless phone with answering machine, books, 2 cable TV's, DVD & VCR's + videos, stereo/CD player & CD's, radio/alarm, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, garbage disposal, flat top electric stove, large refrigerator, rice cooker, coffee maker, cooking utensils and linens provided, dining for 4 on covered lanai and chaise lounges. We also provide soaps (for kitchen, bath and laundry) and starter kitchen supplies in pantry (spices/tea/coffee/cooking oils/snacks) for your enjoyment. There is a sturdy handrail in bathtub/shower, hair dryer, iron and board, queen-size bed in bedroom and queen-size futon bed on wood frame in living room, ceiling fans in living, bath, and bedroom, clean on-site laundry rooms, jacuzzi and pool, 2 clean on-site private restrooms next to the ocean one unit away (for emergencies!), 2 outdoor showers, 2 convenient gas BBQ grills, beach and picnic gear, coolers, umbrellas, ashtrays are provided to smoke outdoors, please absolutely no smoking by anyone indoors. Pets Not Allowed (even though we love them!)
Activities: Explore 8 miles of fascinating beaches, shelling, swimming, on-site tennis court with practice back-board, shuffleboard, croquet, surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling/scuba diving, waterskiing, biking, fishing, hiking, hunting, wildlife viewing, horeseback riding, great golf, fitness centers, miniature golf, boat tours/sailing, kayaking, lots of shopping and restaurants, cinemas, museums, #10 sightseeing, scenic gardens and history abound, miles of accessible surf and sandy beaches to explore in immediate area.
Discounted sightseeing, water sports, golf and helicopter tours are arranged on-site by the friendly Kapaa Shore staff. All guests are welcome to attend the on-site social events, and receive key, message and mail service, and are provided equipment to play croquet, shuffleboard, or tennis.
Area: Directions to Kapaa Shore Beach House - Kapaa shore resort is located on Kuhio Highway 56, north of Lihue. Only 10 minutes from Lihue Airport. From airport turn right onto Highway 51. Proceed 1.5 miles to the Hanamaulu stoplight. There, Highway 51 becomes Highway 56. Continue north on scenic Highway 56 approximately 5.5 miles to the entrance. Receive directions to unit and key pick-up from the friendly front office staff.
The Garden Island boasts the largest navigational river in the Hawaiian Islands at Wailua River, less than two miles away, for waterskiing, kayaking, and kicking-back.

Deposit - A $100 deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit, which is separate from the rent, will be refunded to you by mail after you leave the unit and we see the condo phone bill reflects no long distance calls charged to us. Deducted from the deposit will be:
(1) $70 outcleaning fee and housekeeping fee(s) if additional cleaning requested;
(2) all long distance calls (not charged) made during your stay; and any charges
(3) for damage to unit that is more than normal wear and tear & for missed items. Cancellation - With a 30-day written notice we will refund the full deposit, less a $50 processing fee. If we receive less than 30 days written notice, the deposit, rent and excise tax will be forfeited unless the unit can be re-rented. Rate - Rent is due 30 days before you check-in. The rate quoted may change slightly from time to time. The rate is plus 4.166% Hawaii gross excise tax and 7.25% transient accommodation tax. Please note there is a 3-night minimum. If you plan to stay longer than a week, the extra nights are prorated at the weekly rate. Payment in advance: US Cashiers check & money order preferred, personal or business check made out to JC’s Hale Kipa. Short notice booking: Full payment is due upon confirmation in person or by overnight mail in cash, US cashiers check, money order, or travelers check with ID. (deposit and rental fee) Furnishings - Our unit is completely furnished and includes linens and kitchen items. Check with us if you need information regarding what is included in the unit. Keys & directions - Kapaa Shore Resort office is open seven days a week (Hawaiian Time) from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. The office phone number is 808-822-3055, 24 hours a day, including after hour emergencies handled by an answering service. Check-In time is 3:00 P.M. Check-Out time is 12:00 P.M. Your keys and directions to your accommodations will be at the front desk. |
