Just steps from Keawakapu, Wailea’s first beach and one of Maui’s best. Kihei Akahi D-614: an oceanview 1-bedroom, 1-bath, top-floor condo, one of the few units with the best panoramic vistas of Maui and the blue Pacific in the entire complex. Across from Kamaole Beach Park II.
Both units are completely redecorated and fully furnished for relaxed island living. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, telephone with answering machine (free local calls), and ceiling fans. A firm queen bed and an extra-large and extra-thick queen sofabed — both with quality linens and bedding — provide comfortable accommodations for four. Elegant island-style furniture includes an entertainment center with color cable TV, DVD/VCR, and radio/CD/cassette. Both units have free high-speed Internet (Ethernet and wireless). Kihei Akahi D-614 has an air conditioner. Kihei Surfside 513 has a washer and dryer available in the laundry room; at Kihei Akahi D-614 they are in the unit. Both units are non-smoking.
Kihei Surfside is an extraordinary resort. Unlike many oceanfront condos that are sandwiched between a busy road and the ocean, Kihei Surfside is set back several hundred feet from South Kihei Road so you rarely hear any traffic noise. The complex is situated right next to a great beach for quick and convenient beach access, but rather than looking out over the noise and bustle of the beach, Kihei Surfside overlooks a gorgeous lawn with tranquil views of the ocean and West Maui. The small building has only six floors and Unit 513 is on the 5th, so you get a spectacular view without feeling like you’re in a high-rise.
There is nothing quite like Kihei Surfside anywhere on Maui. We feel privileged to share it with our guests! Besides its unique setting, the grounds feature a heated oceanfront swimming pool, barbeques, spacious lawn with putting green, and on-site laundry facilities. An adjacent complex offers a fine restaurant and convenience store. Supermarkets, shopping areas, and other restaurants are a short drive away. Kihei and neighboring Wailea and Makena have just about every type of activity and shopping you can find on Maui.
Popular Kihei Akahi is a complete and well-maintained complex in the desirable South Kihei/Wailea area with two swimming pools, barbeque grills, and an on-site tennis court. The four buildings in the complex are all different and set well apart from each other within Kihei Akahi’s lush grounds, so the complex feels uncrowded and relaxed. The D building is set back several hundred feet from South Kihei Road so you don’t see the road and rarely hear any traffic noise. The complex is directly across the street from Kamaole Beach Park II, so it’s only a short walk to the ocean. An adjacent shopping center has several restaurants offering convenient, casual dining. Supermarkets and several other shopping areas are nearby. It’s a very comfortable area, great for walking or jogging.
